- The following Advertising opportunities are available:
- Corporate Sponsors – As a non-profit organization the Chamber depends on the philanthropic efforts of others in order to meet its goal of promoting and retaining business in the Lexington and Rockbridge areas. Corporate members are
- Event Sponsors – Likewise, the Chamber would not be able to bring worthwhile events to the forefront of the community if not for the generosity of its events sponsors. As an event sponsor you help defray the typical costs associated with the logistics of an event including program printing, location, food and beverage, etc. Yearly events organized by the Chamber include the Annual Dinner Dance/Silent Auction, the Home & Business Expo, the Chamber Golf Classic, the Rockbridge Food & Wine Festival, and Holiday Marketplace – just to name a few! Please contact Executive Director Sammy Moore for more information.
- Chamber Mail – Chamber Mail is a fast and affordable way to advertise to all Chamber members via e-mail. Whether your purpose is to advertise, inform, or entice your market (or all three!), Chamber Mail is a great way to send your message to the masses. The Chamber staff will be glad to design your ad, if needed, and e-mail it on the desired date. The cost is $20 and may be arranged with any Chamber staff member.
- Chamber Pak – Once a year before the Winter Holidays (and occasionally more often if the need arises) the Chamber offers another advertising opportunity to, and for, Chamber members. Businesses provide our staff with 550 flyers of their choice which are then collated and mailed to the entire membership. The cost is $50 and covers the cost of collating, postage, and envelopes.
- Newsletter – The Chamber produces and distributes 10 newsletters, “Doorways”, yearly to its membership and posts a copy on www.lexrockchamber.com. Our goal is to inform members of upcoming Chamber and local events, report news among the business community, highlight “BAH” happenings, announce new members, and more. Advertising opportunities with “Doorways” include a one-page insert and the back half-page of the newsletter. Only one business is allowed to advertise in each issue and distribution is approximately 600. Please contact the Chamber staff for more information or to coordinate a publication piece.
- “Business After Hours” – A “BAH” is a great way to get people in your door to see what your business is all about! BAHs are held once a month, usually on a Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Although it is at the business’ discretion, light refreshments are usually offered to guests. In the recent past we have enjoyed visiting local banks, attractions, retail shops, spas, medical offices, etc. Reserve your month early through the Chamber office as most BAHs are booked a year in advance. Among all else one thing is for sure – no two BAHs are alike!
