The Chamber web site is often the first place people look when inquiring about the Rockbridge area whether for relocation or tourism purposes. Within the community, it is also a valuable on-line resource for those looking for a particular business or contact. - Rockbridge Almanac – Printed each year, the Rockbridge Almanac is a resource for current information on history, demographics, government and government services, health care, education, religion, climate and more. It also includes a complete directory of all Chamber members.
- Referrals – One of the many jobs of the Chamber, and arguably the most important, is to refer Chamber members’ businesses to anyone contacting the Chamber whether via phone, mail, walk-in, or Internet. We receive over 15,000 contacts yearly and take every opportunity available to suggest and support our members and their businesses. Membership has its privileges and one of the most valuable.
- Networking Opportunities – Throughout the year the Chamber offers numerous networking opportunities from political functions to sporting events. A quick look at the Chamber calendar will show a “Business After Hours” each month in addition to yearly events, both social and professional, where the business community meets for a variety of reasons. Our “Business After Hours” (BAH) is a reception held once a month at a different business from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
