Since your membership dues are based on your number of employees, each of your employees is a member of the Chamber, who should receive the same benefits as the owners and managers. The 2014 Career Expo, presented by Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, is offering two opportunities and locations for employers to meet prospective employees. On Tuesday, March 11th, the first, will be held at the DSLCC Rockbridge Regional Center and the following day, on the campus in Clifton Forge at the Armory Convocation Center. You can attend one or both if you would like. We encourage businesses, large and small, to take advantage of this opportunity.
The Chamber has been approached by a representative from CI Destinations to see if Chamber members or any community members would like to be a part of a 9 day trip to visit the Tuscany region of Italy. Many Chambers offer these travel packages and make them available to their membership. Based on feedback from a couple of local Chamber that have used this company, the CI Destinations was highly recommended and they deliver what they promise.
